Piper's Referral!!

Dear Friends and Family:
It is with great pleasure that we announce the referral of our baby girl from China. We were notified of this happy news on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 2:28 p.m. EST.

Huai Fu Rong
(To be named Piper Kay Pressly)

Born: April 8, 2004
Currently living at the Huaihua Children’s Welfare Institute
Huaihua, Hunan Province

As of November 9, 2004 (7 months old) she:
Weighed 14.3 lbs.
Was 25 ½ inches long

We are to receive photos and more information about her on Tuesday, February 1. It is like being a kid at Christmas time again! So please check back for updates and photos!

We hope to be leaving in late March to go get her and bring her home in time for her first birthday! We will not know more details about our trip for several more weeks. There were 10 other families from the United States that also received referrals today through our agency. These families will travel with us, and all of our babies will come from the same Children’s Welfare Institute. Our trip will last approximately 2 weeks.

Today is a great day!! Thank all of you for your love, prayers, and support.
